Lumi Frames Neon is an LED neon frame: a floater-style picture frame with a seamless COB LED light line running around its face and a clear center panel. The light is split into many independently controlled zones, so gradients flow around the frame like a neon sign that never sits still.

What is an LED neon frame?
An LED neon frame is a frame whose border is the light. Instead of bent glass tubes filled with gas, it uses a strip of small LEDs set behind a diffuser that blends the points of light into one continuous line, which is what gives LED neon its smooth, sign-like glow. Lumi Frames Neon uses a COB (chip-on-board) strip with 1,344 LEDs per meter, so dense that the line looks seamless even up close. Lumi Frames Neon takes that idea and builds it into a real picture frame: a floater-style frame in your choice of finish, with the light line running around its face and a clear panel in the middle. You can frame artwork with it, or leave the center empty and let the frame itself be the art.
Why the color flows
Most color-changing LED strips light up in one color at a time: the whole strip is red, then the whole strip is blue. Lumi Frames Neon’s light line is split into 16 independently controlled zones per meter. That is why one side of the frame can glow violet while another fades from cyan to green, and why a gradient can travel around the frame like a comet. Choosing a size and finish
Lumi Frames Neon comes in 26 sizes, from a desk-friendly 8 × 8 in square to a 24 × 36 in poster size, so the light can fit the art rather than the other way round. The frame in our photos is the 24 × 32 in. Pick the size by the wall and the viewing distance, not only by the print. As a rule of thumb, a frame should span roughly half to two-thirds of the width of the furniture beneath it.

Five frame finishes change the look when the light is off: Black and White for a clean, gallery feel, Champagne Gold for warmth, and Dark Brown or Light Brown wood tones for living rooms and bedrooms. The light itself looks the same in every finish.

Power and placement
The frame runs on a low-voltage 24 V system from a plug-in adapter with the plug for your country. Place it within reach of an outlet, or see how to hide the cord for cord covers and other tidy options. Hang it on the included hardware or simply lean it on a shelf or mantel.
A few habits keep the glow looking its best:
- Dim it at night. Softer light is easier on the eyes and extends LED life.
- Keep it out of direct sun and away from heat sources such as radiators.
- Clean the clear panel with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid alcohol-based cleaners, which can cloud acrylic.
- Use a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for app control; the frame also works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, SmartThings and Matter.

Is this real glass neon?
No. It uses a COB LED strip: 1,344 tiny LEDs per meter packed so closely that, behind the diffuser, they read as one continuous line of light, like neon but without glass, gas or high voltage. See our guide to LED neon vs glass neon for the differences.
How does the color flow around the frame?
The light line is split into 16 independently controlled zones per meter, so different parts of the frame can show different colors at the same time. That is what lets color travel around the frame instead of the whole frame changing at once.
Can I put a picture inside it?
Yes. Place a print or photo behind the clear acrylic panel, or leave the panel empty and use the frame as a floating ring of light on the wall.
Does it work outside the United States?
Yes. It runs on a low-voltage 24 V system, and the plug-in adapter ships with the plug for your country. Wi-Fi control needs a 2.4 GHz network.
Which size is shown in the photos?
The photos show the 24 × 32 in frame. Every size uses the same LED tubes, scaled to the frame.
Which finishes are available?
Black, White, Champagne Gold, Dark Brown and Light Brown. The finish is the color of the frame profile; the light works the same in every finish.
Does it work with Alexa, Google or Matter?
Yes. Along with the smartphone app, it works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, SmartThings and Matter, so you can switch scenes or dim it by voice or in your smart-home app.
How accurate is the white light?
The light has a CRI of 92+, and the white can be tuned from a candle-warm 1000 K to a crisp 10,000 K, so art and photos inside the frame look natural.
How bright is it?
Bright enough to glow in a lit room and dimmable down to a soft night-light level. In a dark room even 20–30% brightness is usually plenty, and lower brightness also means less heat and longer LED life.
Can the colors sync to music?
Yes. There are 16 music modes that pulse and flow with the sound around you, plus 97 preset scenes.
