Custom order questions
How does Send Us Your Piece work?
You send us your own poster, print, photo, jersey, artwork or keepsake, and we mount it in the Lumi Frames you choose and ship it back to you, lit and ready to hang. The service costs $499 in addition to the price of the frame.
What pieces can I send?
Posters, prints, photographs, canvas art, signed jerseys, medals, tickets and other keepsakes. Tell us what it is and its size in the form and we will confirm the right frame before you ship anything.
Who is responsible if my piece is damaged?
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumi Frames is not responsible for any loss of, damage to, or destruction of items you send us — including while in transit to us, while in our possession, and while being shipped back to you. What can be customized?
Size, light color and scenes, the artwork or photo, and for shadow boxes, the layout of your objects. For bulk orders we can also match brand colors.
Can I return a custom frame?
Custom and made-to-order frames are built for you, so they can't be returned for a change of mind. They are covered by our 2-year warranty against defects. See returns.
What image resolution do I need?
For printed art, aim for about 300 pixels per inch at the final print size. For a 16 × 20 in print that is roughly 4800 × 6000 pixels. We will tell you if a file is too small before printing.
Do you do bulk orders for businesses or events?
Yes. Retail displays, restaurants, weddings and trade-show booths are common requests. Tell us the quantity and deadline in your brief.
