How to choose a light up picture frame
Start with what you want to show, then think about where the frame will hang and how you want the light to feel.
- A printed photo on a desk or shelf: an edge-lit frame is slim and even. The Lumi Frames Edge is rechargeable, so there's no cord.
- A poster or art print: a backlit light box makes colors glow like a cinema lobby. The Lumi Frames Lightbox goes up to the 27 × 40 in one-sheet size.

What is the difference between a light up picture frame and a digital photo frame?

Which frames work without an outlet?
Lumi Frames Edge has a rechargeable battery that charges over USB-C, so it can sit anywhere. The other frames plug in with a low-voltage adapter (USB-C, 12 V or 24 V). See how to hide the cord for tidy installs.
