What is an illuminated frame? How light-up frames work
An illuminated frame is a picture or display frame with its own light source built in, almost always LEDs. It glows in one of four ways: light shines through the artwork from behind (backlit), spreads across a clear panel from its edges (edge-lit), comes from glowing tubes that form the border (LED neon), or washes the wall behind the frame (halo). The right one depends on what you want to show.
